Links to Love

Wow! I don’t know about you but this week has been so busy that I can hardly believe it’s Friday. I’m posting a little later than usual today because I stopped by to visit my former kindergarten teacher, whom I haven’t seen since she taught me again in the 4th grade (and that’s back when we used to ride dinosaurs to school). We had a lot of catching up to do, and I’ll share everything about our sentimental visit in a full post on Monday.

In the meantime, here are a few links for you to enjoy:

It’s funny how someone can write a blog post and you think, do they know me? How did they know that’s exactly what I needed to hear right now. That’s how I felt when I read Kelli Murray’s post Babies and Business about the art of mixing creative work and motherhood.

I found a new blog I love called Little Band of Brothers, about a mother of four boys who’s not only thrifty, but stylish and crafty too. I’m hoping to have her guest post on the Thrifty and Nifty series next month.

I love, love, love the guest series on Sometimes Sweet called Literate and Stylish. Dani Hampton always has some really hip blogger share her favorite read of the moment. That’s actually how I learned about Mom Inc. (which continues to be a great read).

I will be making a copy of these French Food Rules I found on Pinterest from a book called “French Kids Eat Everything” and putting them up in the kitchen when baby Martin (whose name shall be disclosed later) gets here.

And finally, three bracelets (here, here, and here) I want to try making soon. Jewelry can be so expensive, but if I could get over my fear of DIY crafts, I could really look cute and have more money in my wallet.

Have a terrific weekend!
