Today’s writing prompt is just a bit different. The hydrangea bush outside our kitchen window is the most beautiful mix of blue and purple, and every time I look at it, I feel inspired to either start writing a poem or finding the cartoon birds from Snow White to sing with me.
So today your challenge is to come up with either one poetic sentence describing the color or look of the hydrangea or a sentence containing a simile comparing the hydrangea’s beauty to something else.
Just write your sentence in the comments section, and I’ll pick a winner next Wednesday.
Last week’s winner of the Wordless{ish} Wednesday writing prompt was Tim Knopp. Read his creative entry here.
The magnificent hydrangea blossoms are reminiscent, of the summer yet to be and all the wonderful days filled with sweet memories, I’ve yet to see.
Beautiful, Dana! Thanks for entering.
